About the venue
The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) is located in the United Arab Emirates. Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE, and this hyperbolic tower-shaped building was built in Abu Dhabi to serve as the city's premier exhibition center, making it the second-largest exhibition venue in the Middle East.
The government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi has made "business, tourism, conferences, and exhibitions" the central theme for the future development of its tourism industry. To enhance the international competitiveness of its exhibition service facilities, the Abu Dhabi government established the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) in 2005 as the government management agency and large-scale event organizer for the local exhibition industry. The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre is the company's dedicated venue, regularly hosting the largest and most influential international exhibitions in the Gulf region, such as the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) and the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC).
The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre boasts a prime location, adjacent to major hotels, office buildings, and commercial centers in Abu Dhabi. It is situated near the Abu Dhabi International Airport and features a highly developed surrounding road network, with a driving time of approximately 50 minutes to Jebel Ali and Dubai. The exhibition center has 7 interconnected exhibition halls with a total area of 28,000 square meters. In addition to the exhibition halls, there are 2 luxurious conference halls, 16 meeting rooms, and a 2,000-square-meter dining area. Currently, the multi-million dollar Phase II construction of the exhibition center complex has commenced. Upon completion, the total available exhibition hall area will expand to 55,000 square meters. Furthermore, a 21,000-square-meter visitor reception concourse, a 7,500-square-meter multi-purpose hall, a conference banquet hall capable of accommodating 1,200 people, and over 30 meeting rooms will be built. Once completed, the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre will become the largest exhibition center in the Middle East. The overall layout of the architectural complex is U-shaped, with a central landscaped plaza designed for hosting large-scale outdoor events. The main building is a towering skyscraper facing the sea. Its ingenious design concept and streamlined architectural style are bold and vibrant, serving as a landmark building that promotes Abu Dhabi to the world.
