Dongying Yellow River International Expo Center

Dongying Yellow River International Expo Center, located south of Huanghe Road, north of Guangli River, east of Lushan Road, and west of Xiangshan Road, is integrally planned and constructed with the Dongying Culture and Art Center, Museum, Library, and Science and Technology Museum. Situated in the central business district of Dongying City, it is the first large-scale, modern, international, and high-tech international exhibition center in Dongying, invested and constructed by Huatai Group. It is one of the top ten key projects in Dongying City and was completed in August 2008. The total construction area is 37,000 square meters. Among them, the exhibition hall area is 23,679 square meters, with 836 international standard booths, mainly used for commodity displays and trade, and can also serve as a venue for political, economic, and cultural gatherings. The conference center covers 5,153 square meters, and the multi-function hall is 900 square meters. The completion of this project will not only become an important carrier for various exhibition activities in Dongying City but also an important place for public leisure and entertainment. It is of great significance for optimizing the urban layout of Dongying, enhancing the city's taste, improving urban functions, and expanding foreign trade. Dongying Expo Center will become an ecological, intelligent, and landmark building that highlights the characteristics and personality of the central city of the Yellow River Delta. Construction Background Currently, the internationalization process of our country's economy has entered a stage of rapid development. As the central city of the Yellow River Delta, a processing and manufacturing base in Shandong, and an important part of the peninsula city cluster composed of 8 cities in eastern Shandong Province, Dongying City has regional advantages of being located in the center of the Bohai Sea Economic Rim, connecting the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan and Jiaodong Peninsula economic belts, facing Japan and South Korea, and backed by the inland hinterland, along with rich natural resources. The International Expo Center project is currently the only large-scale venue planned and constructed in our city that integrates shopping, leisure, and hosting international exhibitions. Located in the central area of the connection zone between the east and west cities, it is 2 kilometers east of the Dongqing Expressway, borders the main urban road Lushan Road to the west, faces the 100-meter landscape avenue Beiyi Road to the north, and is only 1 kilometer south of the fast traffic lane connecting the east and west cities. After completion, the project will become a landmark landscape in the central city, which is of great significance for changing the city's appearance, improving the city's taste, and promoting international exchanges and trade.
