About the venue

The Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) in the UAE was established in 1988 by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum to preserve traditional water sports and elevate Dubai's domestic and international profile. The club is situated in the popular Dubai Marina area, near Le Meridien Mina Seyahi. Covering a total exhibition area of 15,000 square meters, the venue features a marina with over 300 berths, a helipad, a sailing school, a racing department, administrative offices, and event facilities. The club hosts over 50 large-scale events annually, including the Dubai International Boat Show. Every year, the Dubai International Marine Club hosts the largest traditional 60-foot dhow sailing race, an event that has successfully reached its 23rd edition. In 2010, the club also hosted the America's Cup preparatory regatta (Louis Vuitton Trophy), bringing together six of the world's top teams to compete. The introduction of brand-new marine equipment to meet the club's water sports demands now allows for a wider range of commercial activities, such as floating conferences and aquatic concerts. Adjacent to the Gulf and directly facing Palm Jumeirah, its convenient geographic location makes it the perfect venue for hosting all kinds of events.
