Pyongyang Sci

The Pyongyang Sci-Tech Complex is a science and education museum in North Korea, completed in late 2015. Located on Ssuk Islet in Pyongyang, its exterior is modeled after an atomic structure. Covering a total building area of tens of thousands of square meters, the central hall features a large Unha-3 rocket model. It is divided into four main blocks: the Basic Science and Technology Hall, Applied Science and Technology Hall, Earthquake Experience Room, and Virtual Science Laboratory, along with several undisclosed areas. Science popularization rooms and reading spaces are open to the public. All lighting, heating, and cooling systems in the complex are powered by solar and geothermal energy, while the surrounding grounds feature open-air study areas and a fountain park.
