Xiangyang City Gymnasium

The Xiangyang City Gymnasium is located north of Zhuge Liang Square, at No. 9-113 Changhong North Road, arranged in a north-south symmetrical layout opposite the city stadium. It covers an area of 7.32 hectares and has a building area of 20,000 square meters. In 2004, to prepare for the 12th Hubei Provincial Games held in our city, the municipal leaders decided to invest 110 million RMB in the construction of the Xiangyang City Gymnasium. Construction began at the end of 2004 and took one year and eight months to complete, with the gymnasium being finished and put into use in June 2006.
