Zhanjiang Olympic Sports Center

The Zhanjiang Olympic Sports Center Comprehensive Training Hall has a planned land area of 76,990 square meters. A two-story Olympic Sports Center Comprehensive Training Hall is planned to be built, primarily for sports training. Constructed according to Grade A sports training venue standards, it can accommodate 11,200 people. The total construction area is 20,860 square meters, including a training area of 17,500 square meters, a sports resting area of 1,360 square meters, a logistics management area of 500 square meters, a storage room area of 500 square meters, and an auxiliary room area of 1,000 square meters. Once completed, it can be configured with 78 badminton courts and 30 basketball courts. Parking for the Zhanjiang Olympic Sports Center Comprehensive Training Hall utilizes surface parking lots. First, it makes full use of the 2,000 existing parking spaces at the Olympic Sports Center; second, 120 new parking spaces will be built, with 500 parking spaces reserved for future development. The comprehensive training hall features 4 entrances and exits, with the main entrance located on the west side of the site, and the other three secondary entrances located on the east, south, and north sides respectively. The project is situated west of Baixi Road and south of Tiyu Road in the Haidong New Area. Located in the central area of Haidong New Area, it is adjacent to the main stadium of the Provincial Games, and the project site connects with municipal roads and Baixi Road. Located on the east side of the Zhanjiang Olympic Sports Center, this hall is a newly built venue integrated with the main center. The first floor covers an area of 19,125 square meters, and the second floor covers 1,240 square meters, with a total height of 32.150 meters. The hall made its "debut" serving as the industry pavilion for the 2018 China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE). At this expo, the hall provided an exhibition area of 12,000 square meters.
